NASA Stennis Space Center Engineering & Operations Facility

The planning team conducted the Requirements Study for the consolidation of Stennis Space Center’s (SSC) engineering and operations functions and the NASA Shared Service Center (NSSC) into one proposed facility. The new Engineering and Operations Facility (EOF) consolidates several user groups at SSC to reduce overall Center footprint and increase efficiencies between organizations. Our team analyzed five different sites within the administrative campus looking at existing built and environmental constraints as well as assessing each site according to the planning goals and key requirements identified by SSC.

The EOF building area, including the west and east wings, totals 239,186 gross square feet (GSF). The two wings are connected via a covered walking path as well as a skybridge on the third floor. Beyond offices and workstations, the facility includes Center-wide amenities, an auditorium, SEB area, storage, and labs.
