Architectural Intern
Marco Muralles graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture in June 2026 from the University of Oregon, with a minor in Art History. His academic journey has been shaped by a strong interest in how architecture begins with the human experience. He believes that before architecture is form or structure, it is a response to how people move, gather, rest, and perceive the world around them. This perspective informs his thoughtful and people-centered approach to design.
Throughout his architectural education, Throughout his architectural education, Marco has explored the relationship between history, culture, and the built environment, gaining experience studying abroad in both Italy and Türkiye. His work emphasizes creating spaces that are both functional and enriching, balancing thoughtful design with an appreciation for context, and the everyday experiences of the people who inhabit them.
Marco enjoys spending time outdoors and taking advantage of everything the Pacific Northwest has to offer. He loves playing ultimate frisbee, skiing, biking, swimming, running, or hiking. He also enjoys exploring new places and has a strong interest in sustainability and the role architecture can play in protecting and enhancing the environment.
