Jason Fajardo

Planner, Architectural Designer

Mr. Fajardo grew up in Oregon and is a Planner and Architectural Designer for The Urban Collaborative. He obtained his Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Oregon’s School of Architecture and Allied Arts in 2012. Jason started working for the Urban Collaborative, LLC in 2011 and has been honing his professional experience in Master Planning, Urban Design, Architecture, and training for the Department of Defense on Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, and Joint Base installations worldwide.

Mr. Fajardo has compiled a large number of skills and knowledge in various hand-drawing and digital media to develop master planning graphics and supporting documentation. He provides a high level of technical expertise in computer-aided drafting and design programs, geospatial information systems data, and master plan rendering software. Jason is proficient using the Adobe Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; and also has advanced knowledge using software such as Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and ArcGIS. Mr. Fajardo supports the DoD Master Planning Institute as one of the primary instructors of the Master Planning Visualization Techniques class hosted by the U.S Army Corp of Engineers Headquarters through the USACE Learning Center.

Jason has facilitated or has been involved in the development and production of 11 Comprehensive Master Plans, 17 Vision Plans, 10 Urban Design Plans, 69 Area Development Plans, 14 Feasibility Studies and Assessments, 5 Sustainability Studies, 17 Customer Concept Documents, 28 Technical Plans, and contributed to projects that received 28 National Awards and Honors for design by the Federal Planning Division of the APA.
