On Thursday, May 3rd, the City of Clayton, Ohio, unanimously adopted their new Comprehensive Land Use Plan through City Council. The Urban Collaborative has been working with Clayton since September, 2016, on this planning process. The overall plan consists of the Land Use Plan, defining the vision and goals for all future development in the city, an Appendix, detailing the process and results of the collaborative planning effort with the city, and an Implementation Plan, which provides lists of projects, based on short, mid, and long-term efforts, that support the city’s vision and goals. The City Council has already scheduled a workshop to prioritize the implementation projects and determine which can be executed in the next six months.
