Amanda Lyda

Junior Planner, Architectural Designer

Ms. Lyda is an Assistant Planner and Architectural Designer at The Urban Collaborative where she has practiced since 2021. Amanda is a graduate of the University of Oregon’s Bachelors of Architecture program. Her primary interests in design are focused on creating a lasting sustainable place that has a positive impact on the community and the environment. Throughout her years of study and practice, Amanda has worked on a variety of different project types from analysis and requirements focus, to addressing the overall urban fabric of an area. Amanda is experienced in 3D computer modeling, energy modeling, analysis, rendering, and graphic design. Her primary focus is working on specific building design and is currently pursuing an architectural license in the state of Oregon.

In her free time, Amanda enjoys reading, baking, spending time with family and friends, and traveling when she can. She enjoys seeing how different cities are created and how they create different dynamics.
