Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam Master Plan

The Joint Base Pearl Harbor Hickam (JBPHH) Master Plan identifies roughly 19 million square feet of building capacity on 4,423 acres of developable land (29.1% of total land holdings), across 11 districts. Over 300 stakeholders participated throughout the two-year intensive master planning process. The overarching JBPHH master planning vision is to create secure mission areas and walkable neighborhoods with interconnected streets and landscaped boulevards. These compact districts will have sustainable facilities and infrastructure, accessible open spaces, appropriate parking, and will reflect the visible historic character of the installation. Each district has its own unique vision that nests within the overarching vision. Allan Jacobs, author of Great Street and the Boulevard Book, consulted on the creation of a great street that helps stitch together a seamless joint base.
