Eastside Area Development Plan, JBPHH

The Eastside District plan demonstrates how inefficient cul-du-sac housing and unwalkable work environments can be replaced by focusing on regional architecture and the application of contemporary theories of city design. This ADP design utilizes Capt. Nurse's theory of creating a beautiful — as well as an efficient — place to live and work, and incorporates a newly designed housing area, infill development, and linear green space and parks that connect living to working environments. The Eastside ADP uses capacity based planning to show an additional 2.6M square feet of mission support facilities and roughly 465,000 square feet of community support space were identified.
